The crop matures in 105–110 days with a yield potential of 42–45 quintals per hectare (20–28 quintals per acre). The recommended seed rate is 50–55 kg per acre, and the best sowing time is the first fortnight of November. It is suitable for irrigated and semi-irrigated conditions and is especially good for chapati making. The variety is resistant to lodging and shattering, ensuring stable performance in the field.
