GW 513 C/F
GW-513 is a medium-duration variety with a maturity period of 115–120 days and a yield potential of 2000–3000 kg per acre. The plant grows 78–90 cm tall with robust straw that resists lodging. It is resistant to leaf rust disease and has a high tillering capacity, producing solid, shiny, and heavy grains. The variety is well known for making good quality chapati. The best sowing time is from October 25 to November 20, but it can be extended up to the first week of December. A seed rate of 40–50 kg per acre is recommended with a spacing of 16–18 cm between rows.
