GJG 32
This Spanish bunch (erect plant type) groundnut variety has a high yield potential of about 1360 kg/acre and contains around 53.9% oil, making it valuable for oil extraction. It matures in 110–130 days and shows good resistance to common diseases like tikka and rust, with a shelling out-turn of 68.5% and a 100-kernel weight of 35.9 g. Its strong adaptability makes it suitable for rainfed kharif cultivation in Gujarat, ensuring reduced crop loss and better profitability for farmers.
