This is a semi-spreading, most popular groundnut variety suitable for all purposes. It has a dormancy period of 30 to 35 days and mostly produces bold, two-seeded pods. The duration period is 115 to 120 days with an oil content of 50 to 53%. Recommended spacing is 18 to 24 inches between rows, with a sowing time from May 25 to June 30. The seed rate is 60 to 70 kg kernel per acre.
